For the second year in a row we went down to let our light shine at the annual  Ohio U Halloween block party in Athens Ohio.  There were many good conversations and opportunities to share Jesus with the lost. We began by making an 18 person prayer circle on the street and  called out to God for salvation of the lost and came against the demonic forces behind it all.  We sang some worship songs then began to preach.  I was very encouraged to see the great turn out of students that came from WSU.  It is events like these that really make you see how depraved men can get without Christ.  We were really fired up and are looking forward to continuing the labor the Lord has set before us.

In the picture below we were stationed on the right side of the street. 

It is amazing how quickly fire attracts a crowd.  Are you on fire for GOD?

MEN OF GOD ARISE!

Just returned from another afternoon reaching out to the college kids at Wright State University. I have been able to go every Tuesday and Wednesday since school started. There is a special place called speakers corner where I am able to play my sax and preach the Gospel. There has been some good response. I got this message last week from a girl who heard me preaching...

..."I really wanted to thankyou for being bold and preaching the gosple! I was praying for you as I finished walking to class. and God just wouldn't let me stop interceding for you. it was cool. I was so encouraged and had a hard time seeing all the "rainbow alliance" stuff on the ground... I wanted so badly to take a big black marker and write Jesus loves you over top of it.

Anyways, I know Andy and I told him that there was a guy preaching and he said he thought it was you... so I just wanted to say that it was SOOOO encouraging and I'm pleased that God is moving. Another things I found so cool is that when I passed by you were reading the scripture about do not store for yourself treasures where moth and rust destroy... anyways, that's been me and my prayer partners verse this year... and it was so refreshing to hear it.

I have seen the outreach have a 2-fold effect. First lost people are hearing the Gospel and second saved people are being encouraged to step out boldly and share their faith.

Last Saturday there was a Pagan pride fest held on the campus so a couple brothers from Chi Alpha and I went and started playing worship songs where it was set up. At one point during 'amazing grace' a girl came and threatened us saying she would use her Tazer on us. We said we loved her and she stormed off. I was able to share a brief Gospel message and we continued to pray and worship.

Much is continuing to happen here in Dayton. Saturday night the evangelism team went to let our light shine again in the Oregon District. We prepared worship songs and set up in front of the Exotic fantasies store and prayed against the strongholds and worshiped the Lord. When it came time to preach there was this sense of peace. We had many good one-on-one conversations.

God is sending laborers. Prayers are being answered. Praise God!
